Janine Stewart
Say the Stewart Duroc name just about anywhere in Iowa and Janine’s name will surely be mentioned. She grew up on her family’s well-known purebred Duroc hog farm in northeast Iowa, and from an early age knew she wanted a career that combined communications and agriculture. The original dream after earning an ag journalism degree from Iowa State was to write for a pork publication. But, she quickly found MorganMyers, which offered a combination of agriculture and communications strategy, planning and execution that appealed to her then – and still does today. Janine leads by example: Her organization and communication skills, ability to ask good questions and flair for creative thinking builds relationships, strengthens teams and supports client goals.
WHAT MOVES ME?
Working with a team of people who are smart, fun and committed to doing great work to move a client forward. A great plan coming together as a culmination of our talents.
A LITTLE ABOUT ME:
- One of my favorite quotes is: “Never lose your sense of humor.”
- When I’m not working I enjoy hanging out with my amazing book club (OK, maybe it’s more of a wine and social club), golfing, being with my children and grandchildren.
- If I won the lottery tomorrow, I would start a charity, so I could donate to many causes to help individuals and families that are struggling. And, you know, keep working here.
- Explain someone I admire and why: My parents – they know how to be successful in their professions and still put family first, and they are extremely good at living life to the fullest, especially in retirement.
