Clients, MorganMyers recognized with 2021 Regional NAMA awards

A 50-minute livestream viewed from the comforts of an office chair isn’t a traditional Region III or Region IV NAMA Awards Program. The lack of personal interaction leaves a bit of a void. Thankfully, the production values of the ceremonies were outstanding, the pacing was great, and attendees didn’t have to work out the following morning to make up for the drinks, dinner and dessert. Thanks to the committees that worked so hard to make the evenings go well.

Also, thanks to the MorganMyers’ clients that allow us to work with them on some outstanding programs. It’s great to create a program that helps move our clients from where they are to where they want to be, and have the program recognized by our agrimarketing peers for the value of the work.

Illinois Farm Families (IFF) and Illinois Corn Marketing Board Documentary Style Video – Bioplastics

Consumers want their product choices to be good for them and good for the planet, so they rally around relatable sustainability topics like single-use plastic. Globally, one million water bottles are bought every minute; 91% are never recycled. Every year, 17 million barrels of oil are used to make plastic for U.S. water bottles. Corn-based bioplastics can replace virtually anything made with petroleum-based plastic.

Using the theme line of Innovation Grows HereTM, we create a docuseries-style video to demonstrate Illinois farmers’ commitment to sustainability solutions that benefit us all. This commitment begins on the farm but extends beyond the field. Farmer support of research to develop technology needed to make bioplastics is bringing these better, greener options to market, and provides a sustainable solution for everyone. Watch the video.

Illinois Farm Families – Watch Us Grow website

Online content has become a go-to resource for informing opinions and aiding in our decision-making process when it comes to food and everyday essentials. That means digital is a critical space to provide relevant, trustworthy information about farming and food.

IFF meets consumers where they are: Online, showing Illinois farmers are committed to sharing what really happens on farms and to answering questions about farmers, farming practices and how food gets from the farm to consumers’ tables. Providing an easy-to-use Web experience with frequently updated content helps IFF engage with consumers to demonstrate Illinois farmers’ transparency and initiate conversations about food and farming. Illinois Corn Marketing Board #FieldGoals Campaign

It’s the Super Bowl. Illinois Corn Marketing Board is committed to increasing consumers’ trust in Illinois corn farmers and their sustainable farm practices. We use one majorly captive, prime time television moment to do just that: the Super Bowl, and a locally run ad supported by a multi-media campaign to creates awareness of Illinois corn and the people growing it. Consumers have the chance to learn more about how corn is sustaining Illinois and the world, and farmers get to see themselves represented in a positive light.

Merck Animal Health – Audio/Video Broadcast News

As part of a campaign to introduce a new intranasal vaccine to the beef market, we work with NCBA to produce a six-minute segment to build awareness of the benefits of using an intranasal vaccine in calves at spring turnout. The segment provides a  first-hand account of improvements to calf health, and ultimately to the bottom line, experienced at an Oklahoma cattle ranch following initial use of the product. The segment aired on Cattlemen to Cattlemen and was viewed nearly 400,000 times.

We’re looking forward to reconnecting/chatting with some of you during the National AgriMarketing Association event this July. Happy to talk sooner about these or other programs. Send us a message anytime; we would love to talk about your agricultural marketing or communications approach.
