Situation

Today’s consumers consider several sources as they make decisions; information is literally available at the tap of a screen. With so many influencers now at the micro level, there are many voices persuading consumers, including dietitians, NGOs, company decision makers, organization executives and more.

Objective

Build relationships with industry influencers while gaining insights into what supply chain stakeholders are thinking about in their own sectors, culminating in ongoing collaboration.

Approach

We create a series of hands-on dinner experiences for Chicago-area influencers, built around a shared value, like sustainable food ingredients and the role of technology in food. Using a progressive dinner format, guests rotate to different tables focused on key topics led by experts in those areas. Each table is paired with a restaurant “station” – creating a unique food experience around a soy-inspired dish.

Results

Guests value what they learned and share sound bites like, “This kind of event helps me stay ahead of the curve” and “I loved the thought-provoking questions.” They also note the value of being able to connect and network with other segments of the supply chain.

50+ Chicago-area influencers are engaged through these dinner events. 100% of guests say they would recommend this event to a colleague. ISA deepens relationships by giving key decision makers unique soy insights and experiences.
