Anne leans into more than 30 years of experience in integrated marketing communications for her role as CEO and a principal of G&S Integrated Marketing Communications Group. She is responsible for ensuring excellence across all areas of performance and operations for both MorganMyers, a G&S Agency, and G&S Business Communications — from client service to each agency’s integrated offerings to cultivating a vibrant client-focused and growth-oriented culture.
While deep into “the business of our business,” Anne has never stopped practicing her craft as a strategist and counselor. She is an accomplished and active media training and presentation skills coach, loving her work with a wide range of clients across sectors like agriculture. Anne also continues to serve as a senior client counselor in areas like healthcare and as a crisis specialist ready to jump in when needed.
What moves me?
Actively engaging with and giving back to our industry, as well as in other communities where I can be of service. This includes being a member of the Page Society, representing G&S in our global agency network, PROI, and serving as a Trustee and student mentor at my alma mater, Vassar College. I previously served on the board of the PR Council and as Board chair for New York-based anti-trafficking nonprofit, LifeWay Network. These moments of connection and care lift me up.
Fun Q&A:
- What’s a brand you admire?
Peloton. I love their approach to fitness and the community forged by their instructors and other members. I cycle on my Peloton bike at home and tap into their on-demand yoga classes on my phone wherever I travel. - What’s one piece of career advice you live by?
Lean into your curiosity and enthusiasm. This sparks a positive, optimistic energy that is infectious to all around you. And it helps you be a better counselor and partner to your clients. - If you weren’t in marketing and communications, what would you be doing?
Likely teaching at the university level. I did most of my Ph.D. in American Literature while helping build a startup communications agency founded by two of my mentors from Burson-Marsteller. While I ultimately left the program to refocus full time on agency life, the work I do as a media training and presentation skills coach feeds my passion for engaging others in learning. - What’s something people might not know about you?
I’m married to a professional drummer, which is wonderful as I’ve been a singer and performer since childhood. I chose not to pursue a career in the arts, but it makes me happy to share my life with such a talented musician.
