Katelin Lee

Account Supervisor

Writer. Go-getter. Rancher. These are just a few of the attributes that make Katelin such a good fit here at MorganMyers (MM). She’s always known she wanted to work in agriculture and has been penning stories since grade school. Ag journalism seemed like a logical fit, but an internship showed her just how much she loved the world of marketing and public relations. The atmosphere, the strategy and the challenge of bringing it all together to advance agriculture — she was hooked.

Katelin grew up on a cow/calf ranch in New Mexico and now joins her husband on his multigenerational ranch within the state. She remains active in the cattle industry, serving as an active member of the New Mexico’s CowBelles, Cattle Growers’ Association, and its Farm and Livestock Bureau. She’s also a fellow with New Mexico’s Agricultural Leadership Program.

She’s heavily involved because she cares — in fact, that commitment to helping clients succeed was one of the things that drew her to MM.

WHAT MOVES YOU?

I love having the opportunity to connect producers with products and services that will make their job of producing food, fuel, and fiber easier and help them be more profitable so they can leave a legacy for generations to come.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME:

  • If I didn’t already work at the best company ever, I would probably be a ruminant nutritionist. No, seriously. I almost switched my master’s degree program, but I knew I would miss writing.
  • Things I enjoy doing when I’m not working: I spend a lot of my time outside of work helping my husband on our ranch or remodeling our ranch house. I also love to cook, read and travel.
  • If I were a superhero, my superpower would be the ability to understand and speak any language.
  • The vacation of my dreams would involve eating my way across Europe. I love to experience different cultures, and I think food is a window into the lives of the people who grow and prepare it.
  • I want to be remembered by people for sharing my faith, passion for agriculture and resources with others. So many people took the time to help me get to this point in my life. I want to pay that forward.
