Kynzi Cole
Kynzi Cole counts herself lucky to spend her days working to build trust in an industry that has helped shape her into the person she is today. With her team, Kynzi loves the challenge and fulfilling work of helping more consumers understand agriculture and the farm-to-fork mission. While attending college at Iowa State University, Kynzi worked at the university’s creamery, a position that ignited her passion for marketing communications and relationship building. She has since maintained her involvement in the industry, raising a small flock of sheep, volunteering with 4-H and serving as a committee member for her local fair.
WHAT MOVES YOU?
I am passionate about communicating with consumers about where their food comes from and the amazing work we do in agriculture. There’s so much to celebrate in this industry! One of my favorites is the family feel and inclusion seen across spaces — at the end of the day, everyone in ag is working toward the same goal of feeding the world.
A LITTLE ABOUT ME:
- The best piece of advice I’ve ever gotten is “you’re never too good to help lift gates.”
- This might surprise you about me: I used to race go-kart competitively.
- When I’m not working, I enjoy growing succulents, painting, working with our livestock, reading, and going to concerts and comedy shows.
- One of my favorite quotes: “If you can’t do it with feeling, don’t.” — Patsy Cline.
The vacation of my dreams would be Italy. The food, the wine, the culture — need I say more?
