There are some people who just get agriculture – the challenges, the beauty, the nuances, all of it. That’s Max – a guy who lives and breathes agriculture and what he can do to advance an industry that he loves. Equal parts passion and knowledge have made him an instrumental team member at MM. He helped create the SCN Coalition, an industry-wide, multi-stakeholder coalition to combat soybean cyst nematodes. He worked to introduce Roundup Ready Soybeans and Roundup Ready Corn – pioneering biotech crops. And when he’s not helping brands revolutionize the industry, you can find Max on his own cash grain and show cattle operation in Wisconsin, along with the family cow-calf ranch in South Dakota. Like we said, he lives and breathes ag – both in and out of the office.

• If I didn’t already work at the best company ever, I would probably be a full-time farmer and rancher.
• When I’m not working I enjoy farming and ranching.
• If I could be anywhere other than here, right this minute, I would be working on our farm or ranch.
• If I could invent a holiday, it would definitely involve farming and ranching (just kidding … but you can see a theme). My real answer is beef jerky.
