Taylor Bacon

Account Supervisor

When it comes to the livestock industry, Taylor Bacon doesn’t just know it, she lives it every day on her family’s club lamb operation in Oklahoma. Taylor grew up showing livestock and majored in Animal Science at Iowa State University before leading the Marketing and Communications Department at the Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her background and experience contribute immensely to our animal health clients, specifically her ability to translate technical information into easily understood content. When Taylor isn’t writing about animal health topics at MorganMyers, she’s moonlighting as a livestock photographer and spending time with her husband and son.

WHAT MOVES YOU?

The agriculture industry shaped me into who I am today, providing me with mentors and experiences. Finding a career in this space was never a question. I’m proud to serve the ag industry and continue my involvement in it, both personally and professionally. A competitor by nature, I like to be challenged and view each day as an opportunity to be a little better than I was the day before.

 A LITTLE ABOUT ME:

  • The best piece of advice I’ve ever gotten is a favorite of Dr. Jodi Sterle at Iowa State University — “The world is run by those who show up.”
  • One of my favorite quotes is “Perfection is unattainable, but if we chase perfection, we often catch excellence.” – Vince Lombardi
  • If I didn’t already work at the best company ever, I would probably be a sports psychologist. I love sports and the mental component of them is fascinating to me. I would love to be able to help athletes overcome mental hurdles.
  • Things I enjoy doing when I’m not working include attending livestock shows, going to wrestling matches, and spending time with my husband Sam and son Bennett.
