With deep family roots in farming and a decade spent creating content in the commodity world, “agriculture” is a language Meghan speaks, and writes in, quite fluently. She’s no stranger to a deadline-heavy environment; in fact, it’s an area in which she thrives. On any given day, you might find her writing a press release, planning social media posts or “beefing up” communications for an animal health client. Regardless of the task at hand, it always comes back to helping an industry she loves move its ideas forward.

WHAT MOVES ME?

I enjoy connecting the dots to tell a story, and there’s always an important story to tell when it comes to agriculture and the people in this industry. Genuine. Passionate. Family oriented. Hard working. Humble. These are the words that come to mind when I think about farmers, and it’s a privilege to work in an industry guided by the same sort of values I hope to instill in my own children.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME:

• If I didn’t already work at the best company ever, I would probably be an interior designer/home renovator. In the meantime, I’m channeling my inner Joanna Gaines and honing my skills with our current fixer-upper.
• On a Saturday morning, you’ll find me: Sleeping in (my husband is the best, as he takes on the early-morning wrangling of our two young kids), followed by strong coffee and some time outdoors. Except in the winter. Put me in front of a fireplace all winter.
• Things I enjoy doing when I’m not working: Spending time with family and friends, kayaking, boating, reading, long walks, bonfires … and of course, home renovation projects.
