Taylor Lekin
Taylor Lekin loves telling a good story, and agriculture and food offer some of the best. A small-town Iowa girl with roots in cattle, Taylor has a deep appreciation for agriculture and rural communities. Her love for communications began at her high school newspaper and carried through to Iowa State University, where she studied agriculture and rural policy. That foundation led her into the feed industry and ultimately to MorganMyers — where she now blends her ag roots and knack for storytelling every day.
WHAT MOVES YOU?
Connecting with people — personally and professionally. If we look in the right places, I truly believe we can all find something in common. And that is worth celebrating!
A LITTLE ABOUT ME:
- One of my favorite quotes is: “Never be so kind, you forget to be clever. Never be so clever, you forget to be kind.” – From Taylor Swift’s “marjorie,” a song written about her grandmother, which echoes the lessons my own grandmother taught me.
- Things I enjoy doing when I’m not working include taking long walks outside, spending time with my family, and road tripping to cheer on the Iowa State Cyclones!
- When I was 5, I was pretty sure I’d be a marine biologist when I grew up.
- The vacation of my dreams would be equal parts adventure, good food and relaxation by the water.
On a Saturday morning, you’ll find me at a farmer’s market picking up fresh flowers, local coffee and produce to try in a new recipe!
