Linda Wenck
& Consumer Communications
Linda is one of those people who is always thinking, always five steps ahead. She knows how to extract insights from a simple conversation or ask the right question to get to the root of a challenge or opportunity. She seamlessly fills the role of listener and facilitator, helping food and ag clients move their brands and businesses forward. And all those strengths started on a dairy and fresh produce farm in Muskego, Wisconsin, where she says she interfaced equally with consumers and cows. On-the-farm life was followed by double majors in ag economics and journalism at UW-Madison. Today, her results-oriented mindset starts, not surprisingly, with keen listening followed by strategic thinking that can help shape stories and creative to break through the clutter in a way that resonates.
WHAT MOVES ME?
Causing change in agriculture and food that makes life better for others.
A LITTLE ABOUT ME:
- The best piece of advice I’ve ever gotten is: “Wisdom comes from assuming the learning position, ears open and mouth shut.”
- When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with family, farming, gardening and exploring the incredible beauty of our world.
- The most inspiring part of my job is the promise the future holds to continually improve the way we grow and market food and the impact that can have throughout the food chain – from farmers to consumers.
- On a Saturday morning, you’ll find me working outside on our farm.
